Why I Love Being an Allstate Agency Owner

Here’s the truth - I thank my lucky stars each day because I truly love my work. In fact, it almost feels wrong writing the word “work” because for many people, work often has a negative connotation.

But, for me, it’s different.

Being an Allstate agency owner calls into play some of the things I love to do most, including:

· Work with clients

· Develop my team

· Solve complex problems

· Create a legacy for my family

· Contribute to the community

Seriously, how many people are fortunate enough to be able to combine all of these things under one “umbrella.”

My path to the industry was a little circuitous, but I am so happy I was able to find my way here. There’s nothing else I’d rather be doing.

Before you start to think that I sound phony, let me be the first to say that not every day is a walk in the park. Like everyone, there are some days that are stressful and where I can’t seem to “get ahead” of what needs to be done.

I’ve learned that it’s best to “just do it” and stay focused without wasting time on whining or feeling sorry for myself.

Best of all, I know that when I get to go home, there’s a beautiful little boy and a wonderful husband waiting for me, and no matter what happened during the day, I know their smiles will make it all better.

My hope is that you love what you do too because without a doubt it is the best feeling in the world.
